Andrea Tsanas

Born and bred in New York City, Andrea Tsanas’ cultured background created a colorful canvas in her career in becoming a costume designer and stylist.

Raised by an Italian Bohemian Ballerina, whose steps on the streets of Manhattan lead her to living in the same building as John Lennon and Yoko Ono, were instrumental in setting the scene for her sense of style.

Museums, Music and Old Classic Movies were in constant motion creating a common thread between art and fashion.

As a preschooler, when she wasn’t in ballet class, many of Andrea’s afternoons were spent looking through a lens of liberals and learning at the Lincoln Center. Her nights were spent with her next-door neighbor, Isaac Mizrahi, who taught her the tricks of the trade. This progressive pattern of thinking later transitioned her into the industry professionally as a stylist assistant to veterans Cristina Ehrlich, Anna Trevelyan and Clare Richardson and worked at the Ralph Lauren Mansion in NYC where she carved a name for herself as the vision of vintage. Word of mouth landed her a position as Kathleen Kennedy’s full time stylist as well as creating characters, costumes and styling Nicki Minaj full time adding a following of A-list celebrities including Sean Diddy Combs, Aaron Paul, Cody Saintgnue, Ne-Yo, Jesse Williams and many more.

Andrea’s eye for vintage finds and combining the two sources of fashion, old and new, highlights her unique point-of-view and illustrates her imagination and creativity. Her distinctive style has been recognized and featured in Boys by Girls Magazine, French Glamour Magazine, Man of Metropolis, and The Hollywood Reporter. She also works in both Television and Feature Films such as Ryan Murphy's Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, American Horror Stories, American Crime Story: Impeachment and Feature Films such as Everything Everywhere All At Once. Her continuous credited projects are listed on her IMDB page. Her background in art, dance, film, and photography has led Andrea down a multi-faceted path and her approach to costume design and styling is a direct reflection of her upbringing between New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Italy.
